Question

I've looked high/low! Where can I get a copy of Alan Holdsworth live performance with Joel Taylor? I've forgotten the title, but can it be had as a dvd? If not I will settle for vhs. I hope someone will be able to help!
Thanks,
spizzknckr

Do a search on: ALLAN HOLDSWORTH

The DVD is LIVE AT THE GALAXY

It's currently out of stock...

I wouldn't bother with this disc. I have it and the quality is total crap. Try to nab one of the Ebay discs if you can.

While I wouldn't say the DVD is total crap, it definitely is not up to par with "bigger" production value vids, as it was evidently done on a budget [unfortunately, then again Allan isn't making Britney Spears/Aguilera or olden Metallica cash, either]. But to die herd AH fans, it's well enough. You can see & hear all of what each band member is doing pretty well [AH, D Carpenter, Joel Taylor, ripping it up!] but the camera angles are def extremely limited...but it's better than not having this particular show documented, tho, IMO...I enjoy it...Taylor plays exceedingly well, & his solo in Letters of Marque is great [homage to Tony in there]...what can you say? It's Holdsworth...
My only other gripe would be that there are not enough songs/not quite long enough...
